Hello all. I have decided to go and get a blog. Not too much happening in my world, just some let downs and pick ups. First I lost the Croppin Paradise, Queen of Paradise Contest and I am truly bummed. I made it all the way to Round 4 (of 5 rounds) I found out last Monday, and as you can imagine after 2 months of endless scrapping for it, to lose was sucky. I feel bitter, but you gotta lose some to win some. That is where my next door opens. Thanks LORD.
I got a call from my local hospital asking me to scrap their Nursing Magnet journey. Incase anyone doesn't know what that is, it is a "nobel" nursing prize. It took them 5 years to prepare and receive the award. They were interested in having me make a scrapbook for them. Needless to say, the $500 croppin paradise prize will pale in comparison to this compensation.
When God closes one door, he opens another.
